All About Us

Being pet parents ourselves, we know the struggles of finding a boarding facility that caters to our dogs the way we do. We always dreaded knowing they were about to be in kennels, with no lengthy exercise for a week or so, not to mention we have one that is terrified of a kennel, or being “shut in” with no way out. So, with explicit instructions and tips to make their lives, as well as my dogs lives easier, and with many tears, we would head out. I finally knew at that point what our goal in life was.

After a few life changing events, we started this venture in 2018 with Rover while living in Kansas. We found that we really loved what we were doing and after getting settled back in Florida, The Lavished Pet was created, which is now Wynsor's House.

We have four dogs of our own, until very recent, who love to hang out with new friends. Wynsor was our Vizsla, and although he passed away May 17, 2023, he is still very much a part of our pack in spirit, as well as our business namesake.

Sofia, the chihuahua is the oldest and yet the smallest of the group, she is the sheriff of the house and likes to make sure there is peace amongst the guest. Jaxon is our English Pointer, he's the mellow one, and just takes it as it comes. Hannah is a Vizsla / Lab mix and is our youngest, and most playful, she is forever wanting to run, playing "chase" is her favorite. Our pets are family, and are treated as such. We would love the opportunity to get to know you and your fur babies as well, and to provide the same love and attention that they get in their own home and make them feel like one of the pack.

We have had dogs and cats practically our whole lives, with the occasional, bird and ferret added to the pack, and while we do not have the birds and ferrets anymore we are deeply devoted to our fur kids. Wynsor, Hannah, Jaxon and Sofia along with Brees, the cat have made our lives whole.
